2022 DRL – Google Cloud Fly Cup Challenge Terms & Conditions

Official Prize Award Rules

In connection with a promotional relationship between the Drone Racing League, Inc. (“DRL”) and Google Drive, DRL is providing prizes to winners of the 2022 Google Cloud Fly Cup Challenge (“Contest”) winners.  By entering the Contest, entrants agree (i) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of DRL, which will be final in all matters relating to prizes, and (ii) not to disclose or use DRL data supplied during the Contest for any purpose other than entering into the Contest.

Contest Start/End Dates. Contest begins at 2pm Pacific Time (“PST”) on September 15, 2022 and ends at 11:59pm PST on 12/31/2022 (“Contest Period”).

Eligibility and Legal Matters. Participation is open to adults who submit valid entries during the Contest Period.  DRL’s decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to Contest prizes.  Void where prohibited, taxed or restricted by law.  The Contest is governed by New York law.  All disputes are subject to JAMS arbitration.  Prize winners are responsible for any taxes owed.

Prizes.

• Stage 1 (Recruit) Prizing: 
  • Top fifty scores: One item of custom co-branded DRL x Google Cloud merchandise (retail value of approximately $50 per winner)
• Stage 2 (Pilot) Prizing: 
  • First five hundred participants to complete Stage 2 of the Contest will receive codes to download DRL’s Simulator on Steam (retail value of $9.99)
• Stage 3 (Champion) Prizing: 
  • Top twenty five scores: One item of custom co-branded DRL x Google Cloud merchandise (retail value of approximately $100 per winner)
  • Top three scores: opportunity to virtually present their Contest findings to DRL Pilots before the end of the 2022-2023 race season
  • Top score: VIP experience (“Grand Champion”) to travel to a DRL Championship Race in early 2023 and receive VIP on-site treatment (total retail value of up to $5,000)
    • Prize includes up to $3,500 of (i) roundtrip (within the United States) air travel to and from a DRL race event for one passenger, and (ii) two nights of hotel accommodation
    • If Grand Champion is unavailable to attend the DRL Championship race in early 2023, DRL will provide equivalent prize value
    • Grand Champion to be recognized as winner of the Google Fly Cup Challenge at DRL’s 2022-2023 Championship race

Notification. Stage 1, 2 and 3 winners will be notified by email on or about October 10, December 1, and January 1, 2023, respectively.

Confidentiality. Contestants agree not to use or disclose any DRL data supplied during the Contest.
