The Drone Racing League (DRL) is the premier, global drone-racing circuit and producer of world-class sports content. As a futuristic sport that blurs the line between the real and the digital, we get to race in the most legendary locations around the globe and immerse fans into video-game-inspired courses. We are seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to be responsible for tracking marketing metrics and KPIs across the league related to viewership, interactive media (digital /social media), gaming, betting, new business, partnerships, merchandise, tickets, and more. The role will require collaboration with internal teams and external partners, and be required to aggregate data into spreadsheets and dashboards designed to inform stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports for all aspects of data reporting and deliver on a regular basis for digital/social media, broadcast/streaming, marketing partnerships
Work with internal and external partners to manage data deliverables (viewership data, impressions, downloads, sales, etc.)
Track performance against partner deliverables
Track viewership and impressions of the DRL race broadcasts and streams
Work with agency partners to manage fan insights, syndicated fan data, audience and fan demographics
Support thought leadership initiatives that tell the tech-setter story and other innovation stories that we want to be known for
Work with partners to support valuation reports for key events
Other duties as asked or assigned
Who You Are:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience with research, measurement or marketing background in sports or media/entertainment
Strong organization, communication and presentation skills
Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technology platforms
Proven ability to handle complex tasks and continuously prioritize opportunities
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Positive attitude, team player with a strong attention to detail
Desire to work at a high growth, early stage company
Experience with media valuation research (TV, digital, social, OOH)
Experience with television ratings measurement, reach, and impressions
Familiarity with media-buying, planning and research
