Business Solutions Associate

The Drone Racing League (DRL) is the global, professional drone racing property. Merging the digital with the real, DRL combines innovative technology, custom content and thrilling live sporting and esports events that broadcast and live stream on premier international sports networks including NBC and Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and Instagram.

We are seeking a Business Solutions Associate to develop innovative partnership packages that generate new business for the league. The Business Solutions Associate will be responsible for building out proposal decks for pitches, devising new partnership ideas across live events, media, and content, pricing partnership packages and campaigns efficiently, and using data to craft insight-driven stories. The ideal candidate will have experience in sports and entertainment marketing with strong copywriting skills, and a strong passion for creative storytelling.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in developing partnership proposal decks, ensuring that they are comprehensive and engaging.
• Collaborate with the creative team to design visually compelling mockups for presentations that effectively communicate partnership ideas.
• Write copy for marketing collateral inclusive of presentation decks, one-sheets, and pitchbooks.
• Strategically leverage data and statistics to provide insights that inform partnership strategies and tactics.
• Work closely with other departments to generate new and innovative partnership opportunities that can be brought to market.
• Support the larger partnership team by identifying key prospects and assisting in the development of targeted outreach.
• Develop media plans that optimize partners’ KPIs and efficiently price out multi-platform packages

Who You Are: 

• Possess 1-2 years of marketing/sales experience, or hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
• Demonstrate experience in media planning and have a solid understanding of the sports and entertainment industry.
• Have a strong passion for creative storytelling and the ability to think outside of the box.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking a hands-on approach to your work.
• Display flexibility in working hours to accommodate deadlines and unexpected shifts in priorities.

The salary range for this role is $58,500 to $65,000.
