Coordinator, People Operations

The Drone Racing League (DRL) is the premier, global drone-racing circuit and producer of world-class sports content. As a futuristic sport that blurs the line between the real and the digital, we get to race in the most legendary locations around the globe and immerse fans into video-game-inspired courses. We are seeking a Coordinator, People Operations who is a master of details and thrives on helping others succeed. The Coordinator, People Operations will handle all the behind-the-scenes tasks related to our DRL employee and office experience. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Support key operational processes and workflows across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding/offboarding, data management and compliance
  • Own all employee engagement initiatives including all-company meetings and team building activities
  • Respond to general inquiries regarding but not limited to company policies, benefits, employee data, and employment verifications 
  • Oversee the DRL New York office and maintain a safe and clean work environment by managing office maintenance, repairs, and waste management in partnership with service providers
  • Consistently work to improve the office environment providing a safe, productive and welcoming workspace for all departments, employees, and guests utilizing forward thinking and creative problem-solving techniques
  • Contribute to the development and sustainability of the overall company culture
  • Other duties as asked or assigned

Who You Are

  • Eager and early in your professional journey, having up to 2 years of relevant experience and armed with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
  • Excellent, honest, and clear communication skills both written and verbal, and an ability to converse easily with anyone
  • Self-starter mindset with a roll up your sleeves and no task too small attitude
  • Comfortable juggling different tasks and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and without errors
  • Able to quickly digest and execute new processes in ambiguous environments
  • Exceptional time management skills and accountability in the role
  • Integrity, discretion and ethical behavior in all work situations
