We are seeking a senior marketing leader to grow DRL’s global fanbase and manage key areas of marketing including digital marketing, social media, and fan insights. The Marketing Director will have experience applying research to drive decision-making and inform the product roadmap, and manage the measurement and reporting of all aspects of marketing for the league and its partners.
What you’ll do:
Optimize current demand generation programs and develop new strategies to grow total fan base, measured by viewers, followers, subscribers, players, bettors, and other measures.
Develop strategic marketing plans and programs to drive focused fan behaviors
Manage owned media channels including DRL.io, email, apps, and social media
Manage media budgets for marketing programs and partnership commitments
Insights and Analytics
Benchmark, measure and report on marketing KPIs
Partner with the CMO to manage phases of customer research and identifying and executing a comprehensive platform to collect, analyze, and activate first party fan data.
Develop actionable insights from data, analytics and research to elevate the “voice of our fans” to drive sales, marketing programs, product, and event planning forward.
Partner with CMO and PR on thought leadership opportunities including co-branded white papers, events, stunts, etc.
Who You Are:
Marketing leader with 7+ years experience with an emphasis on sports and digital marketing
Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities with an ability to apply data and research to decision making
You have experience and passion for managing a high-growth team
You build strong relationships internally and externally, and value teamwork
You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to re-prioritize on a consistent basis
You are a self-starter unphased by temporary setbacks – every obstacle being nothing more than an opportunity in disguise
