Senior Salesperson, Partnership Sales

The Drone Racing League (DRL) is the premier, global drone-racing circuit and producer of world-class sports content. As a futuristic sport that blurs the line between the real and the digital, we get to race in the most legendary locations around the globe and immerse fans into video-game-inspired courses. 

We are seeking a creative, solutions oriented individual capable of building a pipeline and securing seven and eight figure partnership, including developing benefits and pricing, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts. The role will report to the SVP, Head of Partnership Development and will be actively evaluated on current pipeline, proposals and contracted revenue.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify categories, brands, and regions that present revenue opportunities 
  • Leverage personal and professional network to access influencers and decision makers across the brand and agency ecosystem
  • Build an individual pipeline of domestic and global partners 
  • Lead sales process including prospecting, ideating, pitching and negotiating 
  • Work collaboratively to ensure alignment on value proposition and opportunities 
  • Drive visibility of DRL vision within key networks and stakeholders
  • Other duties as asked or assigned

Who You Are: 

  • Extensive experience generating revenue in a highly commercial sales org 
  • Track record of closing seven and eight figure deals with blue chip brands 
  • Strong understanding of how brands think and evaluate assets 
  • Robust network of key decision makers and senior executives globally
  • Ability to effectively package linear, digital, and social media programming
  • An excellent communicator and accomplished presenter
  • Willingness to travel extensively (when applicable)
