The Qualifying Rounds for a Level will take place the day before the live racing event. In a Qualifying Round, each Pilot is given 30 minutes to learn and practice the course and to record their best heat time. Based on their best Qualifying Round times, the Pilots are ranked 1 - 10, and this ranking is then used to seed the Pilots into the Semifinals and Final Rounds of that Level.

The Pilots finishing the Qualifying Rounds in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place automatically advance to the Finals.

The 7 remaining Pilots then compete in the Semifinals.

There are two groups of Semifinals.

In Semifinals Group 1, the bottom 5 Pilots (ranked 6th to 10th) from the Qualifying Rounds compete in 3 regular heats, plus a potential Sudden Death heat.

The top 3 Pilots from Semifinals Group 1 advance to Semifinals Group 2, where they will compete against pilots ranked 4th-5th from the Qualifying Round.

Semifinals Group 2 Pilots compete in 3 regular heats, plus a potential sudden death heat.

The top 3 Pilots from Semifinals Group 2 will then advance to the Finals, where they will compete against the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pilots from the Qualifying Rounds.

In the Finals, the six remaining pilots compete in 5 regular heats.

All Pilots who win one of the 5 Finals regular heats automatically advance to the Golden Heat. (Note: a single Pilot can win more than one Finals heat, which reduces the total number of Pilots who will qualify for the Golden Heat.)

In addition to the Pilots who finish first in a Finals heat, any Pilot who earns two 2nd place finishes in the Finals regular heats will also qualify for the Golden Heat.

The Golden Heat of the Finals is winner-take-all, meaning the winner of the Golden Heat is the Level Winner.
